We use disposable timing chips embedded directly onto the runner's bibs for the ultimate convenience of both organizer and competitor (no more looping timing chips into shoe laces!). SpectaSport times 5K, 10K, Half-Marathon, Marathon, Mud-Run, Cycling and other types of events primarily in Eastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey, with occasional forays into neighboring states. Charity Runs are a specialty, and we have packages designed specifically for small charity races. Our RFID technology offers options for timing antennas or timing mats depending on your race organization needs. Charity Star Package: This package is specifically designed for charity fund-raising races up to 300 entries, perfect for a first-year 5K. You get a fabulous looking "checkered-flag" finish line structure, chip timing, three results kiosks and online results that are updated while the race is in progress. And, like all SpectaSport packages, the chips are disposable so there's no congestion in the chute and there are no surprises on the invoice. SpectaSport provides everything we need to score your race, including generators and emergency back-up power supplies.

Super Star Package: For larger or more mature races, SpectaSport's SuperStar Package offers more options to mid-sized races, such as chip-timed starts, multiple race distances, results texting and your choice of finish line structures.

Rapid Response Package: This is a specialty package originally designed for the winter calendar, where bad weather with high winds can set in quickly, potentially making traditional finish line structures unsafe. But SpectaSport's Rapid Response Package is also a solution for any race with extremely limited road closure times (such as urban races). The Rapid Response Package has all the same features as the Charity Star Package, but without the attractive finish line structure. Instead, we utilize a pre-wired timing system inside of our Rapid Response Van, which is then parked next to the finish line so that SpectaSport can provide a full-featured chip-timed finish line (complete with results kiosks), yet can still clean-up and open busy roadways within minutes of the last runner crossing the finish line.
